2 cups sugar

1 cup butter

2 eggs

1 cup sour cream

1 teaspoon vanilla

½ teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons baking soda

Flour surface enough to roll out: Beat 5 cups sifted flour in batter and add additional 1-1/2 cups of sifted flour if needed.

Then roll out flat and use your favorite cookie cutters. Bake approximately 8 minutes (time may vary with different ovens) in a preheated 350 degree oven.

You may decorate these with colored sugars, sprinkles, or frost with your favorite buttercream frosting! Yummy!
